Every child deserves the right support to learn to read. My services provide intentional, personalized reading intervention that helps struggling readers gain skills, confidence, and motivation.

What I
Offer

Who I Work With

I support children ages 5–8 (Grades K–3) who are struggling to learn to read. These services are designed specifically for students who need extra support building reading skills — not homework help or enrichment.

Tutoring Options

Families can choose the setting that best fits their child’s needs:

  • One-on-one tutoring (in person): Ideal for students who need individualized support and focused instruction.

  • Small group tutoring (2–4 students): Students are grouped by similar age and reading level, allowing for individualized attention in a supportive group setting.
Virtual tutoring may be offered in the future.

Enrollment & Packages

Tutoring is offered in monthly packages to allow for consistency and routine.
A free diagnostic consultation visit is available for new students to assess needs and determine the best plan for support.

Areas of Instruction

Instruction focuses on the core literacy skills needed for reading success:

  • Reading (phonics, decoding, fluency)

  • Spelling

  • Writing

Session Details

  • 60-minute sessions provide time for instruction, practice, and review without rushing.

  • Bi-weekly or tri-weekly sessions are recommended for struggling readers, as frequent practice helps skills stick and supports steady progress.
